Amy is an editor, writer, ultrarunner and mom of twins living in Bend, Oregon.

She has been a freelance writer and editor for over 15 years, including a stint as an adventure columnist for Outsideonline.com. She is currently the editor for UltraRunning Magazine.

 

She began her career at a small advertising agency where she learned the ins and outs of strategic branding, and has worked with numerous businesses to develop effective marketing and communications plans.

Amy has a knack for finding her way around in running shoes, and has run over 40

marathons and ultra marathons combined.

 

A native of Oregon, she is working on her first extreme adventure novel while living (and running) in Bend.
